Caterina Turnbull
Theory Teacher | Aural Training Teacher | Composer
Having completed an Honours degree in composition at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, Caterina has over 10 years of experience in music teaching. She has taught students from ages 5 to 50, from beginner musicians to tertiary performers. Her exploits at Monash University have awarded her the Peter Tahourdin Memorial Prize for composition, as well as the Cengage Western Music Theory Prize, and she completed her Honours degree with a final mark of First Class Honours.
Dr Houston Dunleavy

Houston Dunleavy has taught at The State University of New York at Buffalo, Interlochen Arts Camp, The University of Wollongong where he was Head of Composition and Acting Head of School, and The Australian Institute of Music, where he as Head of Composition and Production, and Academic Director of The Australian Guild of Music Education until 2020. He has published over 80 compositions and had performances on every continent except Antarctica. He has conducted over 40 operas, and appeared as Guest conductor on Festivals throughout the world.
Theory Group Class
We are thrilled to be announcing our theory group classes, which was highly demanded by students and parents! Each theory course is 10 weeks long, but it can be taught quicker depending on the students’ progress. Please note that lessons can also be taught as individual classes as well.
