Angela Wu
Angela started her piano journey at the age of 5. She is currently studying bachelor of Commerce/Music degree at Monash University, majoring in classical piano performance under the guidance of Len Vorster. Her previous teachers also include Dr. Kenji Fujimura and Anthony Halliday. She has received a pass in her AMusA Exam along with a distinction in Grade 5 Music Theory.
Recently, Angela has been actively seeking performing opportunities in Victoria, including Melbourne Eisteddfods and concerts that Monash holds. She has performed in Masterclasses by great composers and pianists such as Darryl Coote, Robert Chamberlain and Aura Go. Furthermore, she enjoys ensemble works. She has performed a piano six-hand work with another two pianists during ZOFO Piano Duo’s masterclass.
As a teacher, her bubbly and outgoing personality has been adored by her students. She loves to share her ever-growing knowledge in music, and to engage her students with games and tales, in order to let them appreciate the beauty of the piano. Also, she would love to bring as much joy as she can to each student’s piano journey, and to help them build and achieve their individual goals, as she believes goal is the main source of motivation (to practise an instrument.)
