She has also performed in music festivals, musicals and competitions in which she was the third prize winner of the 64th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. Her experiences in solo and band music performance allow her to develop a strong understanding of clarinet playing which she is passionate about sharing the knowledge and skills with her students. She has played music pieces from different periods and of varied styles including Classical, Romantic, Chamber, Tango and Jazz. Thus, she is comfortable to teach any music styles.
Angela is a patient and friendly music teacher who is able to work with students of all ages, and she has been tutoring clarinet and English in primary schools. She is committed to enabling every student to enjoy playing the clarinet and helping her students to achieve their own music goals. She creates individualised lesson plans for her students based on their characteristics, personal goal and need, allowing them to develop clarinet technique, theory and musical expression.
Lessons are available via both face-to-face and online, and Angela is able to travel to the student’s place (within Brisbane) for teaching.
