
Josh Hu
Josh Hu is a Chinese Jazz/Classical Saxophonist based in Australia. He graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music and Master of Teaching at University of Melbourne.
He has won numerous international and local competitions, and given performances in China, Japan, USA, New Zealand, and Australia. Recent achievement includes his solo performance at George wood performing art centre with Artist “Baritone Hong”. A sold out performance with FCCCI in Melbourne Townhall.
As an active performer, he has graced the stages at various venues, such as Melbourne recital centre, Melbourne townhall, Robert blackwood hall, Melbourne art centre. Federation square to list a few. Recently his speech on Early childhood music development was broadcasted on FM 91.4. And his master class on Music scholarship in schools has gone on major forums and which has reached over 1 million view.
As a teacher Josh is very experienced in teaching AMEB and VCE performance Syllabus. His students many has achieved great result and some have taken music as their career choice. He is also head of woodwind in the 2 school that he teaches in with responsibility of overseeing school ensemble music and overall student enrolments.
