In 8 years of teaching, Luna has gained a lot of valuable teaching experience. She designs each piano course according to the needs of students. All her students have passed the ABRSM Grades 1-8 piano exams with excellent results. She also has students preparing for the dipABRSM. Apart from teaching performance, she is also very experienced in teaching ABRSM Music Theory. Many of her students have passed the ABRSM Theory Grade 5 with high scores.
In Luna's piano class, she strictly requires students to play all the markings on the scores perfectly, such as notes, rhythms, articulations, and dynamics. She will teach students how to express in their music, background knowledge of the music, sight-reading, and ear-training.
Luna also hopes that her students will have the opportunity to perform on stage. Therefore, she organizes student concerts every year. Up until now, she has successfully held 6 student concerts. Last year, her student concert was organised with a violin and cello teacher. The ensemble student concert was held to allow students to perform in an ensemble with other instruments, to feel the fun of being in an ensemble, and to make students love music even more.
