Tom has been a lifelong learner and lover of music, having studied piano, guitar, brass and experimented with others throughout his life and career. Having played in a broad variety of amateur bands and orchestras, Tom's philosophy is that of enjoying music as both a personal and social activity.

Tom has taught music in schools and homes across Melbourne since 2011, offering private and group tuition on various instruments, and he always endeavours to provide the most positive learning experience for any student, fostering creativity and musical autonomy. Through the study of repertoire, improvisation, composition and music theory, students develop an understand and a connection to music that will grow as they grow.
Tom is currently undertaking his Bachelor in Education (Music), and has achieved a Diploma in Music Tuition, and his AMEB grades in various instruments.
