Trudie Potter
Trudie Potter has completed Bachelor of Music from Monash University specialising in Popular Voice, honing her skill set in technique, performance and versatility. Trudie has also completed a Certificate III in Music Technical Production.
Trudie has been an active professional musician in Melbourne and inner-city suburbs, performing in a range of venues and festivals including Oktoberfest and Let Go Festival. She has predominantly worked as a self-accompanying solo artist, however over the last 3 years has gained experience as a backing vocalist for various artists and a band member, as a guitarist/ vocalist. She believes having knowledge of the music industry, as well as skill is valuable to students who wish to perform and get involved with gigging.
As a teacher, Trudie focuses not only on the theory and technical side of singing, but through a more holistic approach that combines creativity, theory and technique to create a well -rounded performer. Trudie is passionate about performance and the value of developing your own voice. Whether this is through song writing or adapting covers to make them your own.
Trudie teaches and welcomes students of all ages!
Trudie creates a safe learning environment that allows students to explore vocal techniques and develop performance skills.
