Ira began her music training when she was five. She graduated her music degree from the University of New South Wales in piano performance, and has enjoyed performing many chamber music and accompaniments.
Ira began her music training when she was five. She graduated her music degree from the University of New South Wales in piano performance, and has enjoyed performing many chamber music and accompaniments.
With seventeen years of teaching experience, Ira sees herself as an expert in the area of teaching young beginners and teenagers. In her teaching method, Ira employs the Orff-Schulwerk method which is well-known in Australia. Ira believes that every child is a natural musician and she loves helping her young students in developing their music potential. Ira's students have received many excellent results in the AMEB exams both in practical and theory and/or musicianship. Ira is also a good communicator. She always make sure there are good communications between parents and teacher.
When not teaching, Ira enjoys drawing, little bit of gardening, and keeps her front yard clean and beautiful.
