FAQ – Students

Exciting! So you’ve decided to sign up for your first lesson with Muso Hunt! Here’s how it works:

  1. Search for a tutor through here.
  2. Once you have found your preferred tutor, click here to sign up.
  3. An confirmation email will be sent to you as well as your login details. Our tutor will then call you within one business day to arrange for your first lesson.
  4. An invoice will be sent to you after the lesson has occurred and you can then pay through our online portal.

You will also be given an online account to log in and see your lesson times and sync it with your calendar so you can view it anytime on your phone!

Lesson venues depends on the teacher you chose. Some of our teachers teach in their own studio, and do not offer travel teaching whereas some of our teachers do.

MusoHunt is determined to provide the best music teacher to our students, hence if you think you are not suitable with your current MusoHunt teacher and would like to change to another teacher, or if you have any feedback on your MusoHunt teacher, please feel free to fill in this feedback form.

We will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

Our teachers are all handpicked, and all of them are either working towards or already have a music degree or diploma equivalent. Having this requirement ensures our teacher are knowledgeable and well equipped to teach your child. We also provide our teachers with teaching tips, and make sure all of them have a valid Working With Children's Check (WWCC).

Yes we certainly do! Purchase a 3-month lessons prepayment bundle from us, and receive a whooping 30% off for one of your lessons!

And you can repeat the same deal again and again!

In order to be fair to our teachers and our students, we impose a strict 24 hours cancellation policy. Once a lesson has been arranged, this means that the student has agreed to pay for the lesson. If the lesson requires any changes or cancellation for any reasons, it is the parent/student's responsibility to notify their teachers at least 24 hours in advance via text message or email.

If the student is sick, a medical certificate shall be presented and the lesson will not be charged.

Lessons that the teacher cancels will either be made up or credit will be given.

No refunds will be given for lessons that are missed without any due notice.

Yes you do!

Your online account helps you to keep track of your lessons and invoices. Payment will also be done through your online account.

Unfortunately, due to administrative issues, MusoHunt teachers do not accept cash.

However, to make your life easy, we have an online system where invoices are generated automatically. Our online system allows our customers to take up our 3 months prepayment bundle to take a whooping 30% off for one of your lessons in that three months! It helps both you and us to keep track of your lessons and you can also pay your invoices through your online account.

Our student concert is held annually, and you can sign up by expressing your interest to your teacher and we will sort out the rest for you!
